Auditorium Ramp | ACM Fire Curtain Abatement & Rigging Removal
Site-Pro is scheduled to complete Type 2 asbestos abatement of the existing ACM fire curtain within the auditorium stage area in accordance with Ontario Regulation 278/05. Work includes installation of a sealed Type 2 containment with floor/stage protection, scaffolding for safe access, decontamination entry rooms, and continuous negative air pressure using HEPA-filtered units. The fire curtain will be carefully lowered and secured, then removed in controlled sections using hand tools only, with progressive counterweight control to maintain stability of the hoisting system. Following removal, the enclosure will be thoroughly HEPA-cleaned and damp-wiped, an approved lockdown/encapsulant will be applied as required, and Site-Pro will support third-party inspection/clearance before safe teardown, waste manifesting, and disposal at an approved facility.
